I received Sears gift cards as part of a promotional offer.
Although I am almost done with my Christmas shopping for my kids, now the really tricky part begins. I know exactly what my kids want (I have been hearing about it for weeks!), but shopping for my parents, Paul's parents, my brother and sister and all of the other family members is always much more difficult.
The good thing is, we had our holiday photos done last week, and part of all the adults gifts is photos of the kids. I just need to pick up some frames!
So, now the hard part begins. For my father and father-in-law, the tools section is always a surefire fallback! I know Craftsman is always a sure winner with them! Oh how I would LOVE to get my husband a snowblower for Christmas this year!!! He would absolutely love one and so would his back! Only thing is, we promised each other that we'd stick to a budget with regards to gifts for each other, so that won't happen this Christmas.
The moms on the other hand are MUCH more difficult. My mother and Paul's mother are always the last to get a gift each Christmas because it isn't an easy choice! And of course when we ask them what they want, we get "Oh, don't spend your money on me!" or "Oh, just a little something!" Thanks a lot, Moms! Actually, both of our mothers like purses, and I am liking the Covington Handbags! That might actually be a very good option!
Naturally one of my favorite lines at Sear's is Land's End. Always lots of gifts can be gotten in Land's End! But naturally, I have to stop myself from wanting to buy ME a gift
And then there are the young adult girls on our list. I was just browsing through the Dream Out Loud collection at Sears, and there are so many cute things I know so many of the teens would LOVE! The problem is, once I go in the store I am going to be tempted to get my daughter more gifts, and she is pretty much done. I know she would love this Selena Gomez peasant shirt. I know I do!
I put myself on a budget for Christmas, but after browsing and creating my gift list, I think I may go a little overboard :)
